Healthy chocolate creams
This is my recipe of healthy chocolate creams.
The recipe is simple, super quick and healthy! There are different “textures” of chocolate creams: some are very creamy… Here is my recipe, which is closer to the “flan”. With the unsweetened cocoa powder, we get very chocolaty creams. 😉
Ingredients for 4 creams:
-25 g unsweetened cocoa powder
-500 ml milk
-30 g cane sugar
-1/2 packet of agar-agar (vegetable gelling powder)
-3 g cornstarch
1-Start by heating the milk in a pan.
2- While waiting for the milk to boil, mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl: cocoa powder, sugar, agar-agar and cornstarch.
3-When the milk comes to a boil, turn off the heat. Pour the contents of the bowl into the pan and mix with a whisk until there is no more powder.
4-Then put your pan back on the heat for about 2 minutes, until the cream comes to boil again. Pour your cream into small ramekins (without waiting too long so that it does not start to gel in the saucepan).
5-Place your ramekins in the fridge for at least 2 hours (let them cool at least half an hour before putting them in the fridge).
Your healthy chocolate creams are ready!
