Healthy and easy to make apple pie
Apple pie is a classic but timeless dessert! We always need a good apple pie recipe on hand! Here’s a healthy apple pie recipe wich is healthy and easy to make!
-300g semi-complete wheat flour (you can use the flour of your choice)
-60g whole sugar
-6 tablespoons of olive oil
-150ml of water (approx.)
-A pinch of salt
-optional: vanilla extract, cinnamon…
-7 apples of your choice

1-First prepare the shortcrust pastry. In a large bowl, pour the flour, sugar, salt and optional ingredients if you add some. Mix everything together.
2-Then, add the olive oil and the water, then petrify the dough until you obtain a homogeneous paste. Don’t hesitate to add water if your dough is too dry or conversely flour if it is too wet.
3-Once your dough is made, place it in cling film and put it in the fridge for 30
minutes (you can leave it longer ).
4-During the time your dough is resting, you can go on to make the filling: the applesauce. First of all, start by peeling and cutting 4 apples into pieces. Put everything in a saucepan and add about 2 glasses of water. Leave to cook until the apples are melting.
5-Once the apples melted, mash them with a fork. You can leave some pieces for extra crunch.
6-Then, preheat your oven to 410°F/210°C. You can now peel and cut your 3 remaining apples into thin slices.
7-All is ready, you can now roll out your dough in baking paper and place it in a pie tin (don’t forget to prick it with a fork). You can now spread your applesauce on the dough and place your apple slices on top of the applesauce.
8-Finally, bake in the oven for about 20 minutes.
Your healthy apple pie is now finished! Let it cool before eating.
